Huangshan Maofeng
Fur Peak · Anhui
A misty-mountain green with downy buds, gentle smoke and an almost savoury depth.
Huangshan Maofeng has been made on Yellow Mountain for well over a century, and its hallmark is the white down, or “fur”, that still clings to the bud. Grown at 800 m in near-permanent cloud, the leaf is thicker and slower-growing than lowland tea, and that shows up in the cup as body.
Expect toasted rice, a faint woodsmoke from the bake, edamame and a softly savoury middle before a clean, sweet tail. It holds up to a heavier hand with the water than most greens.

We dispatch within 48 hours of your order, from our warehouse in China, with tracking on every parcel.
We do not quote a delivery date. Once a parcel leaves us it is carried by an international courier and cleared by customs in your country, and a date we cannot control is a date we will not promise. The tracking number, which you get when the label is created, shows every scan to your door.
Shipping is complimentary on orders over CAD 79.00$; below that a flat CAD 9.50$ applies. HST (13%) is calculated at checkout. Duties and import taxes are the recipient's responsibility.
Unopened tins can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. If a tea is not to your taste, tell us — we would rather send you something you like than keep the money.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club and China UnionPay through our payment provider's local card gateway, protected by 3-D Secure 2 authentication. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment in your banking app or with a one-time code.
Card details are entered on our checkout and transmitted directly to the payment provider over TLS. They are never written to our database — we only keep the card brand and the last four digits so you can recognise the charge on your statement. All prices are in CAD.
