Osmanthus blooms for about two weeks each October, and that is the whole window for making this tea. The tiny golden flowers are layered with a lightly roasted Shuixian oolong until the leaf has taken on their apricot-and-honey perfume.

Because the base is a real rock oolong rather than green tea, the cup has structure underneath the flower: a toasted, nutty spine and a mineral finish that keeps it from being merely sweet. Excellent iced, and extraordinary with a piece of plain cake.

Shipping is complimentary on orders over CAD 79.00$; below that a flat CAD 9.50$ applies. HST (13%) is calculated at checkout. Duties and import taxes are the recipient's responsibility.

Unopened tins can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. If a tea is not to your taste, tell us — we would rather send you something you like than keep the money.
