Chrysanthemum Tai Ju
Whole blossoms · caffeine free
Whole chrysanthemum heads — nothing but flower. Cooling, faintly sweet, and the traditional answer to a hot afternoon.
In China, chrysanthemum is drunk as a cooling herb rather than as a tea, most often with a few goji berries and a lump of rock sugar. These are whole Tai Ju flower heads from Hangzhou, picked at full bloom and sun-dried intact, so nothing but flower goes in your cup.
The taste is subtle — chamomile-adjacent but cleaner and more floral, with a natural sweetness and a slightly bitter edge at the back that Chinese medicine considers the point. Naturally caffeine free, so it is our go-to after dinner.

We dispatch within 48 hours of your order, from our warehouse in China, with tracking on every parcel.
We do not quote a delivery date. Once a parcel leaves us it is carried by an international courier and cleared by customs in your country, and a date we cannot control is a date we will not promise. The tracking number, which you get when the label is created, shows every scan to your door.
Shipping is complimentary on orders over CAD 79.00$; below that a flat CAD 9.50$ applies. HST (13%) is calculated at checkout. Duties and import taxes are the recipient's responsibility.
Unopened tins can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. If a tea is not to your taste, tell us — we would rather send you something you like than keep the money.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club and China UnionPay through our payment provider's local card gateway, protected by 3-D Secure 2 authentication. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment in your banking app or with a one-time code.
Card details are entered on our checkout and transmitted directly to the payment provider over TLS. They are never written to our database — we only keep the card brand and the last four digits so you can recognise the charge on your statement. All prices are in CAD.
