Aged oolong is a deliberate craft rather than a forgotten tin. The tea is re-roasted lightly every year or two and rested in between, which drives off moisture and pushes the leaf further from flower and closer to camphor, old wood and dried plum. It brews dark, almost like a light pu-erh, and is one of the few teas that is genuinely better at ten years than at one.
Ya Shi Xiang itself comes from Wudong, Phoenix Mountain, Chaozhou, Guangdong, grown as ya shi xiang single bush, at 1,050 m. This lot is that same tea, handled and graded as described above — the leaf, the mountain and the maker do not change, only the picking window and the price.

We do not quote a delivery date. Once a parcel leaves us it is carried by an international courier and cleared by customs in your country, and a date we cannot control is a date we will not promise. The tracking number, which you get when the label is created, shows every scan to your door.
Shipping is complimentary on orders over CAD 79.00$; below that a flat CAD 9.50$ applies. HST (13%) is calculated at checkout. Duties and import taxes are the recipient's responsibility.
Unopened tins can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. If a tea is not to your taste, tell us — we would rather send you something you like than keep the money.
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club and China UnionPay through our payment provider's local card gateway, protected by 3-D Secure 2 authentication. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment in your banking app or with a one-time code.
