Yunnan’s big-leaf assamica varietal grows slowly at 1,800 m and accumulates extraordinary sugar and amino acid content. This is an all-bud pick — only the golden, down-covered tips — and it needs nothing done to it: a long wither, full oxidation, and sun drying.

The cup is thick and syrupy, honeyed gold at the rim, and it tastes of malt, cocoa nib, roasted sweet potato and a rose-water top note. It takes milk well, but honestly it does not need it. This is the tea that converts coffee drinkers.

Shipping is complimentary on orders over CAD 79.00$; below that a flat CAD 9.50$ applies. HST (13%) is calculated at checkout. Duties and import taxes are the recipient's responsibility.

Unopened tins can be returned within 30 days for a full refund. If a tea is not to your taste, tell us — we would rather send you something you like than keep the money.
